Teens 'throw snowballs' at elderly man in Cornwall

Police are investigating reports of teenagers hurling snowballs at a Cornish pensioner.

Locals have claimed that an elderly man was knocked to the ground in Callington.

Officers say a group were throwing stuff and shouting abuse last Thursday afternoon.

 

 

Callington Police took to social media, in a bid to try to catch the culprits.

Anyone who saw something between 4pm and 6pm is being urged to come forward.

"Worrying reports of local youths shouting abuse and throwing items at the elderly - Liskeard Rd/Village Collection Callington.

"If anyone has witnessed this or knows those responsible please email:

Callington@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk".
