Meet the Cornish schoolboy - in a Hollywood movie!

Pirate FM has hosted an exclusive screening of a major Hollywood movie, five days before its release!

The Kid Who Would Be King is all about the legend of King Arthur and a lad who pulls the sword from the stone.

Parts of the film, directed by Joe Cornish, were shot in Cornwall - including on Bodmin Moor and in Tintagel.

Dozens filled the Plaza Cinema in Truro on Sunday, including 11-year-old Sennen from Praze near Camborne.

He appears in the movie when lead character Alex goes to find his dad and leaves the sword on Tintagel island.

Also in the photo above, fellow Cornishman Tom who worked on props for the most of the movie.

"It was a good film. It was funny in parts and scary in other parts but it was good.

"It was really weird seeing me on the big screen but it was cool at the same time.

"It means quite a lot that I get to be on the cinema screen. I like watching films and now I'm on it; it's cool".
