The jury in the case of a Dutch man, accused of smuggling cocaine that was intercepted off the Cornish coast, has been discharged.

45-year-old Emile Schoemaker, of Antwerp, denied being knowingly concerned in the carrying or concealing a controlled drug on a ship.

The drugs were found on board the SY Marcia, which was towed into Newlyn Harbour last August.
