Could your child become the next star of Doc Martin?

The Cornish TV drama is casting for a young boy to play the Doc's son.

Officials are looking for a fair-haired three to four year old boy to play James Henry.

The ninth series is set to hit our screens this year - despite claims series eight would be the last.

Martin Clunes, who plays the Doc himself, told the Radio Times there is likely to be even more series to come.

"I’m un-ending it... We probably plan to do one every other year now..."

What are the casting directors looking for?

  • Blonde/fair haired boy
  • Age three to four and a half
  • Must be based in the south west
  • Ideally within an hour's drive of Port Isaac
  • Confident and able to take direction well
  • There will be some dialogue

Anyone who is interested can send an up to date photo and contact number to debbie@take1casting.co.uk

The closing date is Saturday 16th February.
