He had more than 150 replies and almost 350 retweets in just 24 hours.

They are no sorted and he has thanked people in the Duchy, saying "what a community".

The team are in Cornwall working on a secret build which is the first of 2019.

An advert went out in Carbis Bay near St Ives searching for traders to help a local family "rebuild their lives".

"I got lucky enough to take charge of the refreshment tent on site from the BBC and all the Tesco’s in the area have bandied together and provided all the tent supplies for the whole project (coming in over £800 as we speak).

"The W.I. and other generous bakers, including the St Uny School PTA are baking and bringing homemade cakes every day and I’ve got 50 people on my rota to coordinate.

"We’re on to day two now and it’s all going well!"

Kirsty Kilmurry-Arthur, local councillor
