Published by Sarah Yeoman at 5:03pm 15th February 2019.

Meet Wobble - the homeless dog with a birth defect who needs to find a forever home in Cornwall.

The seven-year-old Shih Tzu cross moves uncontrollably when walking which means she is wobbly my name and by nature.

She came into the care of the National Animal Welfare Trust in Hayle with her brother Winston earlier this year, and has been entertaining staff there ever since.

"Wobble's condition doesn't cause her any pain and she's adapted really well to it.

"She is a friendly, affectionate dog that has such a zest for life it's infectious."

Centre manager at the charity, Louise Clarke-Payne

The charity, based at Wheal Alfred Kennels, supports homeless and abandoned animals across Cornwall and is appealing for a home for the duo.

Now they are appealing to find a home for Wobble and her brother Winston together.

Wobble and her brother Winston are looking to find a home together

"Winston likes to look after his sister and can be a bit protective so they need a home without other dogs in.

"We were told that Wobble was starved of oxygen when her mum was giving birth to her.

"But thankfully she doesn't realise that she is any different to her brother and she certainly makes sure that she gets her fair share of treats!

"The only thing she struggles with is steps so we would have to bare this in mind for her future home and garden that it's all on one level for her.

"They could live with a resident cat and older, dog-savvy teenager."
