Teenager inappropriately 'grabbed' by stranger in Penryn

A teenage girl has been inappropriately 'grabbed' as she walked home in Penryn.

She wasn't hurt but was left very upset after it happened last Wednesday evening.

Police say the suspect is a man in a black hat with a bicycle - but officers believe it is an isolated incident.

Anyone who was in the Treliever Road area between 8pm and 9pm that night is asked to contact officers.

"Falmouth and Penryn police officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity of Treliever Road, Penryn between 8pm and 9pm on the evening of Wednesday 13th February 2019.

"Police were informed just before 8.30pm on that evening that a man had inappropriately grabbed a teenage girl.

"She was unhurt although very upset, making her way home without further incident.

"The man was wearing a black hat and had a pushbike.

"Police believe the incident to be an isolated one."
