Fresh appeal after young woman raped

Police are making a fresh appeal for clues after a young woman was raped just across the Cornwall border.

The 20-year-old was allegedly targeted at a foam party near Holsworthy last June.

Police have released an e-fit of a man they want to identify in connection to the incident.

Anyone who recognises the suspect or who has any information is being urged to come forward.

"Police have released an E-fit of a suspect they are wishing to identify, in connection to a rape on a 20-year-old woman in North Devon.

"The incident took place between midnight and 1am on Sunday 17 June 2018, at a foam party which was taking place at a barn situated at a farm in Holsworthy Beacon, Holsworthy.

"Police would like to hear from anyone who attended the event and who has yet to have come forward to speak to officers.

"Police would also like to identify the E-fit of the man who is a suspect in this matter".
