This was the breathtaking moment the infamous Cribbar at Newquay roared into life.

Surfers and spectators raced to Towan headland as those super-high spring tides arrived.

The reef, which is also known as the 'widow maker', certainly attracts the daredevils...

Including the guys who rode the waves on a MOTORISED board!
