Dog found in car abandoned after A30 crash

A dog has been discovered in a car, abandoned after a crash on Cornwall's A30.

Traffic officers from Bodmin discovered the vehicle full of beer cans over the weekend.

The Alliance Roads Policing team tweeted this photo of Leah - who was also inside.

The team say Leah has been taken to a responsible home and will be checked over by vets.

"Leah has been taken to a responsible person's home and is OK

" Cornwall have checked her and apart from a small cut, she appears to to be a healthy, bouncy pup.

"She will be looked at by a vet tomorrow. Investigation into driver ongoing".
