Lorry gets stuck under bridge near St Austell

A lorry has got stuck under a bridge near Austell.

The vehicle reportedly 'collided' and got wedged under the big structure at Trewoon.

Police have confirmed that the bridge team have been out to assess it and there is no damage to the bridge.

They are now waiting for recovery for the lorry.

Officers are managing traffic in the area.

"Reports of bridge struck by vehicle on A3058 Long Lane from B3279 to Tremarne Campsite.

"Traffic is coping well.

"A lorry has reportedly collided into a bridge, police are en-route."
