Taylor Swift's 'favourite recipe' is linked to Cornwall

Taylor Swift has revealed that one of her favourite recipes in inspired by a restaurant right here in Cornwall.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, the queen of pop wrote a feature called '30 things I learned before turning 30'.

Number ten on the list is all about cooking...

The Shake It Off singer writes: "I've always cooked a LOT, but I found three recipes I know I’ll be making at dinner parties for life: Ina Garten’s Real Meatballs and Spaghetti (I just use packaged bread crumbs and only ground beef for meat), Nigella Lawson’s Mughlai Chicken, and Jamie Oliver’s Chicken Fajitas with Molé Sauce.

"Getting a garlic crusher is a whole game changer. I also learned how to immediately calculate Celsius to Fahrenheit in my head. (Which is what I’m pretty sure the internet would call a 'weird flex.')"

As fans of both Tay Tay and Mexican food, we decided to have a little look at Jamie Oliver's fajitas recipe.

And it turns out the recipe is inspired by dish served at Señor Dick’s in Newquay.

Jamie Oliver's website reads: "Clare’s food memory is inspired by her time working as a maître d’ at Señor Dick’s restaurant in Cornwall.

"She had the time of her life working there, and this was her favourite dish on the menu. It’s spicy, smoky, sizzling and packed with flavour."

So there you go... maybe one day Miss Swift will make an appearance for dinner in the Duchy.

If it happens... we're Ready For It.
