"We were really, honestly welcomed by everyone in Port Isaac and I had tabs all over the place.

"I had tabs in the pub, tabs in the bakery, tabs in the coffee shop at the top of the hill.

"We actually used to go to the pizzeria at the top of Port Isaac and have quiz night on a Monday night; I'm revealing too much".

"One day we were, well, we end up in the water shall we say. We broke for lunch and I went for a swim in the Atlantic and had my lunch sat on on the beach.

"I thought this was what Poldark was going to be like rather than being in a studio in Bristol in the dark, so it was a real treat to be here".

Fisherman's Friends: The Movie is released in cinemas on Friday 15th March.
