Driver taken to hospital after main road crash

A driver is in hospital after a three-vehicle crash on the main road between Truro and St Austell.

Police believe they suffered a medical episode and were taken to Treliske as a precaution.

The collision happened on the A390 and the stretch near Probus was closed in both directions.

"Police are currently in attendance on the A390 near Probus following reports of a three vehicle collision.

"One driver, believed to have suffered a medical episode has been taken to Treliske as a precaution. No other injuries.

"Waiting for recovery for all vehicles".

Devon and Cornwall Police

"The A390 Probus Bypass, in both directions, has re-opened and traffic is easing.

"The accident has cleared between the A390 (Trewithen Roundabout) and the B3275".
