Man's body discovered in Cornish woodland

Police searching for a missing young dad have found a body in Cornish woodland.

The discovery was made at the Greatwood Plantation in Lostwithiel on Monday afternoon.

Officers are carrying out enquiries but say the death is not being treated as suspicious.

They confirmed that the family of missing Jowan Evans from Lostwithiel have been informed.

"Police have this afternoon found the deceased body of a man in the Greatwood Plantation in Lostwithiel.

"Enquiries continue but at this time this death is not being treated as suspicious.

"The family of missing man Jowan Evans have been made aware of this development".
