Heartfelt tributes are being paid as a hero firefighter from Cornwall loses his battle with cancer.

Jason Bragg has been described as a devoted husband and father who lived life to the full.

Pirate FM told you about the fundraising campaign to help the 28-year-old make memories.

More than £10,000 was raised for Jason, who was dad to little Elizah and twin sons Oscar and George.

In an emotional tribute on Facebook, crews from St Austell say the man known as 'Braggy' will be sorely missed.

"Inspirational, heroic; these words can't come close to describing Braggy and how he carried himself with the insurmountable odds he faced.

"His dedication to family, friends and serving his community as a firefighter, even whilst undergoing exhaustive treatment, only demonstrated Jason's incredible character and determination.

"His personality, humour and outlook on life touched all who knew him.

"With the strength and support from wonderful family and friends, Braggy lived life to the full.

"A devoted husband and father, he embraced every opportunity to make precious memories with those closest and dearest to him fulfilling many of his wishes.

"A true firefighter, Jason would always graft to get the job done on incidents and took huge pride in helping others, endearing him to all of us here at the station.

"Our hearts go out to Jason's amazing family. His parents Jean & Dave and his brother James, to his wife Lizzie, daughter Elizah and twin boys George & Oscar, who will grow up knowing only how incredible and brave their daddy was and how sorely he will be missed by all.

"His memory will live on. Rest in peace and go steady brother xxx
