Police have confirmed the death of a young woman in Truro is not being treated as suspicious.

Pearl Bamford was discovered on a riverbank in Truro on Friday 15th March.

Efforts were made to revive the 19-year-old from Bude, but sadly she died in hospital.

Officers say her death is not suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

Pearl's family have described her as a "wonderful cherished daughter and friend", who "shone brightly".
