People in van 'acting suspiciously' in north Cornwall

A warning has gone out about people in a white van 'acting suspiciously' in north Cornwall.

Police say they had a report in the Launceston area first thing on Tuesday morning.

Locals are being urged to be vigilant.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious in the area is being asked to contact officers.

"We have received a report of a occupants in a white tipper van acting suspiciously in the area of Launceston at approximately 9am this morning.

"Please be vigilant, if you see suspicious vehicles or persons please make a note of descriptions and vehicle registrations and phone 101, or 999 if a crime is taking place, quoting log 188 26th March 2019."
