VIDEO: Snow showers in Cornwall in APRIL!

Forget April showers - some places in Cornwall have woken up to SNOW!

Yes, you did read that right!

Areas like Bodmin Moor and Liskeard were treated to wintry showers overnight.

The tweets have started, with some wondering where the warm sunshine has gone...

Pirate FM breakfast presenter, Neil Caddy, shared this snow video on Tuesday, although this looks a bit more like hail!

For most of the Duchy, Wednesday will see rain, more hail and perhaps a bit of sleet thrown in.

But across the border in Devon, a warning of hazardous driving conditions because of the white stuff!

Inrix Traffic and Travel has posted a series of warnings about tricky driving conditions.

The service is reporting snow in Tavistock, Princetown and at Two Bridges.

What is the forecast for Cornwall?

The Met Office says the south-west could see more snow, as the mini cold snap continues.

Today: "A mixture of sunny spells and showers through the day, some of which will be heavy with a risk of hail and thunder. Feeling chilly. Maximum temperature 8 °C".

Tonight: "Mainly dry through the evening, but heavy rain is expected overnight, which may bring some snow to the tops of the moors. Minimum temperature 2 °C".
