UPDATE: Rush hour crash closes stretch of A30

A stretch of the A30 was closed near Launceston after a multi-vehicle crash.

One lane was shut and there was very slow traffic in the area heading eastbound.

Police say there are no reported injuries.

Pirate FM understands car collided with a lorry just before 4.30pm on Thursday afternoon.

Officials have confirmed that all lanes have now re-opened and the traffic is clearing.

"This was called in to us at 4.25pm, reports of a car in collision with a lorry.

"The carriageway partially blocked, one is lane open but expect delays eastbound.

"There are no reported injuries."

"All lanes open, recovery work completed and multi-vehicle accident cleared on A30 Eastbound between A30 (Callington Turn Off, Launceston) and A388 (Polson / Lifton Down Turn Off, Liftondown)."
