There was llama drama over the Tamar... as one blocked the A38 heading towards Cornwall.

Yep, you read that right.

One lane was left blocked westbound at The Parkway near Plymouth because there was a llama wandering around in the road.

Traffic was said to be coping well but drivers were being asked to approach with care.

Officials have confirmed that the llama is now longer in the road, although we're not sure where it's gone.

All lanes have now been re-opened again.

"One lane blocked due to a llama on road on A38 The Parkway Westbound from A374 Plymouth Road to B3413 Forder Valley Road.

"Traffic is coping well. Approach with care.

"Callers reporting a llama walking around lane one (of two) heading towards Cornwall."
