Jellyfish bloom spotted in Mount's Bay

This is the moment a bloom of jellyfish was spotted off the coast of west Cornwall.

Photographers say around 100 Barrel Jellyfish were swarming in Mount's Bay.

A company that runs small charter boats spotted the creatures over the Easter weekend.

Constance Morris, from Cornwall Coast Photography, captured these incredible shots underwater.

"Brilliant day out on the boat in Mounts Bay with Atlantic Adventures, the sun was shining and the water was almost flat. And fantastic to see so many Barrel Jellyfish about.

Being plankton feeders, the Barrel Jellyfish's sting isn't that strong at all and most seemed to have fish living with them. This one had a group of fry".
