Man robbed in Plymouth in broad daylight

Police are investigating a robbery on the outskirts of Plymouth - in broad daylight.

Officers say a man suffered minor injuries as his wallet snatched from his pocket by force.

They believe two men targeted the 45-year-old on Alexandra Place, before fleeing the scene.

Anyone who saw something, late last Thursday lunchtime, is being urged to come forward.

"Police investigating a robbery in Plymouth have appealed for information.

"The incident happened between 12.50pm and 1pm on Thursday 18 April in the rear service lane of Alexandra Place.

"A 45-year-old man was robbed of cash by two males, who forcibly removed his wallet from his jeans pocket.

"One of the suspects is described as a black male, aged between 20 and 35, and wearing dark clothing.

"The other suspect is described as a white male, of similar age, wearing a distinctive red top.

"Both males made off in the direction of North Prospect.

"The victim received minor injuries".
