Driver 'warns' others about mobile speed trap on A30

A driver has been caught 'warning' others about a mobile speed camera on Cornwall's A30.

A man was "waving frantically" at passing vehicles near Launceston, including an unmarked police car.

The Devon and Cornwall Police No Excuse Team says this is an offence and has been reported.

"Driving & waving frantically at our unmarked vehicle to 'warn' us of the camera van on the #A30 is not the smartest move.

"The excuse was that he doesn't like speeders but he doesn’t want them being 'caught' either!

"Driver reported for the offence".

Officers added that the offence reported was obstructing police.
