An appeal has gone out to try and find a missing man from the St Austell area.

Shaun Sweet from Foxhole, who has distinctive tattoos, has not been seen in over a week.

The last confirmed sighting of the 49-year-old was in the Nanpean area on Wednesday 17th April at 4.15pm.

Shaun is described as 5ft 5in tall, approximately 9st with tattoos on his back, legs and sleeves on his arms.

One contains a collection of skulls and the other has a rose within it and Nan and Gramps on the rose.

Friends say Shaun is most likely wearing blue or black jeans and a camouflaged jacket with work style boots.

He is also said to have left his dog at home, which he never does.

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that he still remains missing.

St Austell Police have also shared the appeal on social media, urging witnesses to come forward.
