'Trespass incident' blocks train line in and out of Cornwall

There are delays to trains running in and out of Cornwall because of a somebody trespassing at Saltash.

There is disruption to both GWR and CrossCountry services between Plymouth and Liskeard.

The line is blocked and services could be delayed for around 45 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 7pm on Thursday evening.

"A trespasser on the railway at Dockyard is causing disruption to trains through this station.

"Trains between Plymouth and Saltash / Gunnislake may be delayed by up to 45 minutes.

"Disruption is expected until 19:00."

National Rail

"Due to trespassers on the railway between Plymouth and Liskeard the line is blocked.

"Train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 45 minutes. Disruption is expected until 19:00 25/04."

Great Western Railway

"Possible delays on CrossCountry between Plymouth and Liskeard due to trespass incident at Saltash."
