If you experienced delays on your journey to work in Cornwall, these abnormal loads might be why.

They were being transported to Long Downs near Penryn via the A30, A390 and A39 on Friday morning.

Teahan Convoi Service confirmed one of the loads arrived at its destination at 7.30am.

The other was parked at Treliever roundabout and is scheduled to be moved after rush-hour.

"We're escorting these two large machines into Long Downs this morning.

"Aiming to get them in before start of rush hour but we'll be pretty slow going. Little patience required. We're going A30 - A390 - A39".

They added: "One load is in at 7:30am. The second parked up at Treliever and we'll run it in after rush hour".
