At least one injured after crash on Cornwall's A30

At least one person has been injured after a crash on the A30 near Bodmin.

Firefighters have confirmed two casualties had to be cut free after a car overturned.

Police and paramedics were also scrambled on Sunday afternoon.

The eastbound stretch between the junctions for Helland and Cardinham was closed.

"One appliance from Bodmin along with the Rescue Tender attended a road traffic collision with two people trapped.

"Firefighters used crash rescue equipment to assist in the release of the casualties.

"Police and ambulance were also in attendance".
