Police search for two potential suspects after Liskeard break-in

Police are searching for two potential suspects after a break-in in Liskeard.

A car was stolen from the property on Wednesday morning along with various items.

Officers found it and the driver is in custody - but they are still looking for two other people.

Now locals are being urged to keep vehicles locked and all windows and doors locked.

"Police were called to an address in Liskeard this morning where the occupants had discovered their house had been broken into and items stolen including a set of car keys, the vehicle was then also stolen.

"Police were able to locate the vehicle and detain the driver who is now in custody.

"There are two further suspects that police are actively seeking.

"We would like to thank the community who have located some of the stolen items and reported this to police.

"If anyone has any information please call or email 101 and quote CR/40304/19

"Remember to lock your cars and keep windows and doors secure at all times."
