Pedestrian caught in collision in a Cornish village

A pedestrian has been caught in a crash in a village in mid-Cornwall.

It happened near the chemist at Roche on Monday afternoon, not near the primary school as first reported.

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed a 13-year-old boy was injured during the incident.

"The boy was clipped by a car as he walked along a lane that runs alongside the pharmacy.

"The driver did not stop at the scene".
