This was the moment a big swarm of bees covered a car in Cornwall.

They were spotted in the Asda car park in Hayle on Monday morning.

It's understood a security guard stayed with the vehicle to make sure everybody was safe.

A local beekeeper was called to the scene to safely collect them.

Amy Whitaker saw it happen - she told Pirate FM it's not the first time...

"The security guard at Hayle Asda stayed by the car to ensure the safety of customers and the honey bees.

"They contacted a local beekeeper who arrived with his bee suit to collect them.

"The couple who's car it was, were very grateful to the Asda staff and the beekeeper who all helped.

"I believe that a similar incident happened over at Philps pasty shop at Hayle just last week."
