Woman knocked down and kicked in assault

Police have launched an appeal after an assault near St Austell, where a woman was knocked down and kicked.

Officers say the victim blacked out and suffered an injury to her forehead in the middle of the street.

They believe a row had broken out in the area around Beach Road in Carlyon Bay back in April.

Anyone who saw something between 11pm and 11.30pm on Sunday 21st is being urged to come forward.



"Police have appealed for information following an assault in St Austell.

"The incident took place between 11pm and 11.30pm on Sunday 21st April, between Carlyon Bay and Beach Road.

"Officers are investigating reports that an altercation broke out and that a woman was knocked to the floor and kicked.

"The victim blacked out and suffered an injury to her forehead and a suspected concussion.

"Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting crime reference number CR/035124/19.

"Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers via 0800 555111 or at www.crimestoppers-uk.org".
