Twickenham turned black and gold this weekend, as Cornwall won the rugby County Championships.

The Black and Golds battled from behind on Sunday, to beat Cheshire 14-12 in a dramatic final.

The nail-biting match came down to the last kick of the game from Matt Shepherd!

Cornwall's victory was their first for three years, after last lifting the Bill Beaumont Cup in 2016.

Our guys were leading 7-0 at one point the first half, much to the delight of Trelawney's Army in the stands.

However in the last 10 minutes, Cheshire pulled it back to take the lead for the first time in the match - 12-7.

The north-west side were then reduced to 13 men before Seti Raumakita's decisive try for the Black and Golds.

Full back Matt Shepherd slotted the conversion with the final kick of the game, to give Cornwall a famous 14-12 victory.
