Teenagers spotted dodging huge waves on Cornish coast

This is the moment a group of teenagers were spotted dodging big waves on the Cornish coast.

The youngsters were caught on camera at Portreath over the weekend.

They can be seen running from the crashing waves as they pounded the Monkey Hut on the pier.

The photo album titled "what not to do..." was posted online.

It has sparked a string of comments that the wave-dodging could have put lives at risk.

Pirate FM understands that the group were spoken to by lifeguards.

Commenting on the Facebook post, one person said: "Extremely dangerous, if you get washed in the entrance to the harbour, as there are no exit points. Theres been a few fatalities there."

Another person added: " It could of been fatal."
