A Cornish beach cafe has suffered a break-in, just two weeks after being gutted by fire.

Flames tore through Life's A Beach at Maenporth near Falmouth at the end of May.

Now owner Leann Wright says everything from drinks to bodyboards have been stolen.

She added that the incident had been reported to police and asked any witnesses to come forward.

Posting on Falmouth, Penryn and Surrounding Areas Community Information Page, Leann described it as another kick in the teeth.

"Please be aware, any of my local friends, today whilst checking on Maenporth Cafe, we noticed we have had a break-in.

"Drinks (cans and bottles), beach goods, aqua shoes, bodyboards, skimmer boards, inflatables and crab lines have all been stolen.

"All these goods are smoke-damaged and possibly bamboo cups and water bottles (H20 Logo) may also be among stolen items. They are all fire-damaged goods.

"Thank you to the low-life/low-lifes that did this; another kick in the teeth for us.

"If anyone hears of anything please let us know as police have been informed".
