Thunderstorm warning out for the whole of England...

The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for the whole of England - EXCEPT Cornwall and Devon.

The yellow alert for thunderstorms will be in force from Sunday afternoon and all of Monday.

Forecasters say counties in the warning area could see heavy rain, thunder, lightning and even flash-flooding.

Although our region is not covered, some thundery showers could be on the cards: Check the weather warnings.

What is the forecast?

Friday: "It will be dry with long sunny spells on Friday. The wind will be light and it will feel warmer than of late in the sunshine".

Outlook for Saturday to Monday: "For Saturday and the start of Sunday it will be sunny and warm. 

"It will turn unsettled later on Sunday and Monday, with some heavy, possibly thundery, rain".
