World's ONLY Pride bus tour back in Cornwall

Published by the Pirate FM News Team at 7:42am 21st June 2019. (Updated at 2:16pm 21st June 2019)

Cornwall stages the world's ONLY bus tour for Pride - with the message 'Come Out For Cornwall Pride'.

The bus is visiting towns from Penzance to Launceston over the next two days.

It is to celebrate diversity and equality across the LGBTQ+ community.

Pirate FM's Love Crew will be on board - and we are proud to be official partners.

You can read more here or scroll down to check when and where you can meet the bus!

Cornwall Pride organiser, Matthew Kenworthy Gomes, was one of the winners of Pirate FM's Local Heroes Awards.

He says the event is for everyone, not just the LGBTQ+ community.

"Come Out For Cornwall Pride is the only pride tour in the world and it really is born for Cornwall Pride being a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in all of Cornwall, not just one place on one day.

"It's absolutely infectious. It's such an incredible community. It's a vibrant community.

"It's a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community but absolutely everyone is there to celebrate diversity and equality across Cornwall".
