Camelford man pleads not guilty to attempted murder

A man from Camelford has pleaded not guilty after being charged with attempted murder.

Police and armed officers were called to reports of a serious assault in the town back in May.

A man in his thirties was taken to Derriford hospital for treatment.

Now a 45-year-old man, from Market Place in the town, has appeared before Truro Crown Court.

On Wednesday 10th July he entered not guilty pleas to one charge of attempted murder and one charge of grievous bodily harm.

He was remanded in custody and is due to stand trial in November.
