Newlywed issues heartfelt appeal to find sentimental ring

A newlywed is putting out a desperate appeal after losing her wedding ring while swimming in Penzance.

Emma got married last week and is currently on her honeymoon in the Duchy.

But when she was taking a dip at Abbey Slip she lost her ring, which belonged to her late mother.

She says it has sentimental value and losing it feels like she has 'lost her mum all over again'.

A newlywed has issued a desperate appeal to find her missing wedding ring, lost while she was on honeymoon in Cornwall

"My mum passed away a year ago and my husband and I had mum and dad's wedding rings, I even had a special box made for them.

"My mum's ring means the world to me and had her initial B on it, I went swimming at Abbey Slip at 4.30pm on Monday and on getting into my car driving home suddenly realised I had no ring on.

"My life has become one big turmoil, I feel like I have lost mum all over again!

"I need someone with a gold metal detector to go down there and scan everywhere, I feel so lost I've even misplaced my marriage certificate in Penzance somewhere I am so upset! My dad gave my mum this ring".
