The Red Arrows might not be able to be at Falmouth Week 2019, but this year's air show sounds incredible!

An aerobatic display team is taking to the skies over Falmouth bay on Wednesday evening... after one had to pull out.

The Strikemaster Pair will put on a performance of breathtaking stunts and manoeuvres.

The event, set against the stunning backdrop of Falmouth Bay, starts at 5.45pm and is expected to attract thousands of visitors.

But sadly The Blades and The AeroSuperBatic Wingwalkers are not able to take off from their current locations because of the weather.

"For 2019, the Falmouth Week organising team, supported by the sponsors wanted to put something new on for the Family Fun Day to watch and enjoy.

"We are pleased to announce the 'Falmouth Week Air Show' and no doubt it will be one of the highlights of the week.

"A huge thank you to the sponsors without whom this simply would not be possible".

It would have been the second time that The Blades have flown into Falmouth following a display in 2012.

Now entering their 14th display season with over 25,000 hours of flying between them, the pilots of the world-famous Blades Aerobatic Team are amongst the most experienced display teams in the world, with former RAF Red Arrows pilots at the controls.

The AeroSuperBatic Wingwalkers are the world's ONLY aerobatic formation wingwalking team! Performing all over the world, their unique displays include acrobatics and handstands whilst strapped to the top wings of beautiful 1940s Boeing Stearman biplanes, reaching speeds of up to 150mph.

The Strikemaster Pair dazzle spectators with their impeccable routine of close formation and synchronised aerobatics in ex-military classic jets.
