Man dies after 'medical emergency' in Penzance

A man has died after reportedly collapsing in the street in Penzance.

Three ambulances, paramedics and police were called to a 'medical emergency' at Tolver Place on Tuesday night.

Officers have confirmed that a man in his 60s sadly died at the scene.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and his family are being told.

"Police were called at around 9.15pm yesterday, Tuesday 13th August, to Tolver Place, Penzance, following reports of a medical emergency.

"Ambulance were on the scene and a man in his 60s was confirmed deceased.

"The death was not believed to be suspicious and his next of kin are being informed.

"A file will be prepared for the coroner."
