The big bank holiday getaway is already underway in Cornwall and causing long tailbacks.

Traffic and travel service, Inrix, says the stretch between Chiverton and Carland Cross is gridlocked in places.

As of mid-morning on Thursday, the estimated journey time in the area was over 20 minutes.

There has also been a crash on the roundabout at Chivvy, which is also causing slow traffic in and around the area.
