Boardmasters refunds "processed within next 21 days"

Published by Sarah Yeoman at 6:19pm 22nd August 2019. (Updated at 8:12am 23rd August 2019)

Boardmasters officials have confirmed that ticket refunds will be processed with the next 21 days.

The plug was pulled on the music festival at Watergate Bay earlier this month because of the stormy weather.

Organisers posted on Facebook saying it was a "difficult decision" but the high winds were extremely dangerous, because temporary structures cannot stand up to strong gusts.

Now anyone who bought a ticket through the Boardmasters website or a via an official seller will get their money back.

They will be processed automatically for face value.
