Police have named the biker who died after a crash just off the A30 in Cornwall.

Andrew White lost his life at Allet over the bank holiday weekend.

The 52-year-old's family have released an emotional tribute.

They say the devoted dad was "everyone's rock and mentor", who "had a lifetime ahead of him".

"There is no doubt he will be missed by many and undoubtedly irreplaceable".

"Our Dad, Andrew John White, was tragically taken from us on 24th August 2019 whilst riding his beloved Scomadi scooter home.

"At only 52 years of age, he had a lifetime ahead of him.

"He was a devoted Dad, Son, Brother and Friend. Everyone’s rock and mentor.

"Dad loved spending a lot of his time in the kitchen, out in the garden forever working on our family home, or enjoying the vast countryside with every man's best friend, our fluffy bundle of joy, Kai.

"He cherished time with those he loved and was such a caring gentleman who would do absolutely anything for anyone. Words cannot explain the empty feeling left in our hearts.

"He adored his work and all of his colleagues at Acorn Housing where he recently stepped up as Project Manager.

"There is no doubt he will be missed by many and undoubtedly irreplaceable.

"We love you Dad and will always cherish our precious memories with, and of you.

"Rest in peace, all our love, Julie, Jenna & Jodie".

Family Tribute

Police believe Andrew's black motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the incident on the B3254.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 873 of 24th August.
