The family of a missing man who walked out of hospital in Cornwall have confirmed he has been found.

They issued a desperate plea for help after Lee Morris left Treliske on Wednesday afternoon with no phone, money or medication.

Pirate FM understands Lee, who lives on the Lizard with his parents, was admitted last Sunday after suffering with psychosis.

The 36-year-old's sister, Sally Morris, posted an appeal on social media which received thousands of shares.

Posting on Sally's Facebook page, friend Loo Stones thanked everyone for their help and for sharing the appeal to find Lee.

"Thanks to the tireless efforts of Lee's sister Sally Bird Morris and all the lovely people who shared the post, Lee had been found.

"He is on his way back to the hospital now to get the help he so badly needs!"
