Strangers 'approach children' in a Cornish park

Police have been called to reports of two men 'acting suspiciously' in a harbour town in Cornwall.

The pair reportedly approached children in a park in Porthleven and asked them for drugs.

Officers attended the scene after receiving a string of calls, then asked the men to leave the area.

It happened just before 6pm on Sunday evening.

"Police were called shortly before 6pm on Sunday 15th September following reports of two men acting suspiciously in a park in Porthleven.

"It was reported that they had approached children and were asking for drugs.

"Officers attended and spoke to the men, who were asked to leave the area".
