UPDATE: Daniel’s friends say he has made contact with his family and is safe and well.

An urgent appeal has been issued to find a missing young man from Cornwall.

Friends say Daniel Congdon, who is originally from Saltash, was last seen leaving a pub in Plymouth on Monday evening.

He is in his 20s and has been described as being vulnerable and concerns are growing for his safety.

A former PCSO from Saltash is among those who have shared the appeal on social media.

Friend of the family, Gemma Skeldon, has told Pirate FM they are desperate for any information.

"Daniel is missing. He is living in Plymouth but has close relatives in Saltash, which is hometown.

"He wasn't playing football. He was last seen leaving The Sun Dial in Plymouth at 5pm yesterday.

"That is all we know".

On Tuesday morning, Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that Daniel is still missing.

Anyone who might have seen Daniel is being urged to call 101, quoting log 974 of the 16th September.
