Driver follows satnav and ends up stuck in pub garden

This is the moment a car got stuck in a pub beer garden in Cornwall, (no) thanks to satnav!

The driver was trying to get from Truro to Penzance when they ended up at the Trengilly Wartha Inn near Constantine.

The landlord gave the man directions to get back to the main road but, minutes later, he was back after getting stuck.

Staff at the pub say the car had slipped down a bank and thought a crane would be needed to life it out!

"We were having a normal night in the pub when a man walked in and asked where am I?

"He then said his sat nav had braught him to the Trengilly Wartha Inn from Truro whilst he was trying to head to Penzance.

"William Lea, the landlord of Trengilly Wartha Inn, gave him instructions to get back on the main road toward Penzance.

"About 15 minutes after that he came back in saying he had got a little stuck.

"When we went to help push him out, he had driven down into our garden and slipped down the bank.

"It is needing cranes to lift it out".
