This was the scene after an electrical fire spread across three homes near Torpoint.

The flames were sparked by an electrical blaze and spread across several roofs in Millbrook just after 8am on Tuesday morning.

Firefighters from Liskeard, Torpoint and Looe all got the call after smoke was seen coming from three bungalows.

All the occupants had safely evacuated and were left in the care of Cornwall Housing.

It is not yet known when they will be able to return to their homes.

Crews used hosereels to put the fire out and believe the cause was accidental.
