Biker taken to hospital after rush-hour crash

A biker has been taken to hospital after a rush-hour crash in Redruth.

A motorbike and van collided on Southgate Street at around 8.30am on Thursday morning.

Paramedics were called to treat a male patient, who was then taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The air ambulance was also sent to the scene.

"We were called at 8.30am to an incident involving a motorbike and a van on Southgate Street in Redruth. 

"Our crews treated an injured male patient at the scene, and transported him to hospital by land ambulance for further care."
